Notting Hill and a classic anedote

Not just a great film…….  which Mr Gascoyne and I quote lines from all the time.

These are just a few of our favourites quotes:

” I enjoyed the movie very much. I was just wondering, did you ever consider having more horses in it?”
“Well, we would have liked to. But it was difficult, obviously, being set in outer space”

“Yes – happiness isn’t happiness without a violin-playing goat”

“Whoopsidaisies!”

“Can you adios those dishes and take out that trash?”

“Right. It’s not a classic anecdotes, is it?”
“Not a classic, no”

“Well, you tell me which bit you liked most.. and I’ll tell you if I enjoyed making it”

It’s a lovely (if expensive) bit of London, its houses painted in sugary sweet, pastel colours and Portobello Road famous for its antique shops and market.

I loved this door, with the stickers and weathered paintwork framing the urban artwork. grafitti resized

The shed like building in the photograph below, is an interesting vintage shop selling all sorts of retro bits and pieces. 2 Secondhand Brick Lane resized
